Cohiba

One of the most prestigious and famous cigar brands in the world, its history dates back to 1966, when it was created exclusively for Fidel Castro and other high-ranking Cuban officials. Since then, Cohiba has expanded its collection with different lines and forms, each of which offers a unique smoking experience.

One of Cohiba’s most popular lines is the Siglo series, launched in 1992 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus.

The Siglo series consists of six vitolas (formats), ranging from the small Siglo I to the magnificent Siglo VI, all with a mild to medium draw and a hand-picked blend of tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region, Cuba’s tobacco-growing paradise.

In 2016, Cohiba celebrated its 50th anniversary with a special edition: the Medio Siglo

which translates to “half century.”

The Medio Siglo

is a new vitola that incorporates elements from two other Siglo cigars:

it has the ring gauge (52) of the Siglo VI, but the length (102 mm) of the Siglo I.

This makes it a Petite Robusto. A short, thick cigar that will give you a satisfying smoke in about 30 minutes.
