The Romeo y Julieta Club Kings Cigars
A beautiful cigar to look at. It is a more typical cigar and the wrapper color is a classic Cuban cigar color with oil red veins that also have a milky chocolate brown in it. There are a few veins on the front side, but there is a much clearer main vein that runs down one side of the cigar. Aroma-wise, it is a light to medium cedar and tobacco aroma.
The base of the cigar has a sweet floral aroma that smells like bubblegum. The finish is medium to excellent with a cool, muted finish with sweet floral flavors and some dry, sauce-soaked sushi rice.
There are lots of mineral flavors, toasted bread, some starchy potato and earthy flavors. The flavor is full and the smoke production is great. The smoke is perhaps a little dry and seems to be strong and dry. The structure is excellent.
For the first half inch, there is a pleasant nutty note that is overpowered by most of the dry flavors, but eventually disappears. The dry roast flavor is a strange, earthy, sweet, meaty, and slightly creamy note that sits on top of the earthy, sweet, meaty, and slightly creamy note. Occasionally, there is some black pepper, but it is not a big part of the flavor profile. The finish has a flavor that reminds you of the smell of new carpet. The dry toast is still a big part of the flavor profile.
In the retrohill technique, the notes are not as distinct, although the aroma and flavor of the carpet are more pronounced than when you retrohill. The flavor is medium-full, medium-rich, and mildly strong.
A spicy earthy note joins the toast along with more mineral flavors, then white pepper, leather, oak, and creaminess round out the secondary notes. Before the roastiness, leather, and creaminess are fully savory, there is the presence of a very spicy black pepper note.
The retrohills show some enjoyable flavors – oatmeal and nuts sometimes appear – but the smoke exhales from the nose with a slight increase in bitterness. The flavors peak and the cigarillo richness is medium. In terms of flavors, there are more burnt flavors in the final third, although the spiciness is lost a little. The finish is a little dry and bitter, but the structure is excellent. It is excellent from start to finish and it takes maybe two hours to finish the cigar.
