Montecristo is one of the most famous and prestigious cigar brands in the world and the No. 1 is one of its best vitolas. The No. 1 is in the Lonsdale format, 6.5 inches long and 42 gauge ring. A medium-bodied cigar with a smooth, creamy flavor that showcases the quality of Cuban tobacco.
The No. 1 has a beautiful Colorado wrapper that has a silky, smooth texture. The cigar has a firm and even structure, with no soft or hard spots or cracks. It has notes of cedar, hay and nuts when extinguished. The cap is easily removed and the cigar lights without any problems.

The first third of the No.1 produces a rich and balanced smoke with flavors of wood, leather, coffee and spice. It burns smoothly and evenly, leaving a light gray ash, dense and firm. The resulting smoke is thick and aromatic, filling the room with a pleasant aroma.
It then introduces some sweetness and creaminess to the mix, creating a smooth and satisfying experience. The wood and leather flavors still dominate, but are complemented by notes of vanilla, honey and cocoa. The cigar remains medium-smooth, without harshness or bitterness.
The final third of the smoke increases the intensity and power of the cigar slightly, but without losing its finesse and balance. The wood and leather flavors become more pronounced, along with some earthy and peppery notes. The sweetness and creaminess are still there, but in the background. The cigar finishes with a lingering, long and satisfying aftertaste.
Montecristo No 1
A classic Cuban cigar that delivers a smooth and flavorful smoke from start to finish. A great example of the Lonsdale format that allows the tobacco to express its full potential. A cigar that both beginners and professional enthusiasts can enjoy, as it offers complexity without being overbearing. A cigar that deserves a place in any humidor.
